Hotel Information

Palm Springs has a wide array of lodging choices, from top-notch resort hotels to hip mid-century get-aways; chic boutiques to economy lodging, and everything in-between. Unique to Palm Springs is that we also offer a wide selection of resorts for the LGBTQ+ community. While many of these focus on a male clientele, you will find an extremely welcoming hospitality community at all lodging options, and guests will feel a warm California welcome wherever they choose to stay. To get started on your search, we recommend contacting your favorite hotel brand directly or using the hotel booking engine of your choice, be it Booking.com, Expedia, Travelocity, or the like.

Another housing option is to stay in one of the many Short-Term Rental (STR) properties. Whole houses, condos, and shared accommodations are widely available across a variety of price points. These can be booked through well-known sites such as Airbnb and VRBO, as well as Booking.com, Marriott Bonvoy, and a number of vacation package providers. MisterBNB.com is another booking option. If you choose to stay in an STR, be aware that the City of Palm Springs forbids music to be played outdoors in order to preserve neighborhood harmony, and that this rule is strictly enforced. More details on STRs are available in the various booking engines or through your hosts.

Be aware that there are very few hotels available within a mile of the Palm Springs Swim Center. Obtaining a rental car is usually recommended, and IGLA 2022 is happy to announce that Avis is a preferred partner for our 35th Anniversary Championship meet. Click here for additional information. As another alternative, the flat topography of Palm Springs makes bike rental a possibility as well. Uber or Lyft is another option, but availability remains in flux, especially during peak periods.
